Step 1: Open the app
Go to your Shopify admin.
Open Apps and select Bulk Customer Editor.
Step 2: Go to the editor
On the dashboard, click Start editing (or open Customers in the app navigation).
Or, from Shopify Customers, use More actions → Edit in bulk.
Step 3: Find the customers to change
Use Search to find customers by name, email, phone, or tag.
Optionally pick a segment from the segment dropdown.
Add Filters or change Sort if needed to select the customers you want to edit.
Step 4: Edit cells
Click a cell and change the value.
Changed cells are marked until you save.
Use the Shopify save bar at the top to Save or Discard. On Save, preview the changes, then confirm. Large saves show progress — keep the tab open until finished.
⚠️ Be aware that changes are permanent if you save!
Step 5: Review
After saving, confirm the customer profiles in Shopify look correct. Failed rows show an error toast with the Shopify message when something cannot be updated.
